Halfpenny Technologies

Halfpenny Technologies was a private healthcare IT company focused on interoperability, health information exchange, computerized physician order entry, and clinical data exchange for providers, laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, and health plans. Its core offerings were secure, cloud-based, vendor-neutral connectivity and business intelligence solutions that enabled the exchange of laboratory, imaging, medical record, and related clinical data across disparate healthcare systems. The company was founded in 2000 in Pennsylvania and built a reputation in laboratory integration and provider connectivity. In June 2019, Halfpenny Technologies was acquired by Accumen, and its interoperability assets were later integrated into AccumenConnect and subsequently hc1 InterConnect.
