Hamilton Pharmaceuticals was a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing products for the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) market. The company's lead product candidate was HP-1030, a proprietary intranasal formulation of the calcium channel blocker nimodipine, which was being investigated for the treatment of acute rhinosinusitis and other nasal conditions. Hamilton was founded by industry veterans and backed by prominent venture capital firms before being acquired by Alcon in 2010.
