The company historically operated across three business areas: Accessibility, Patient Handling, and Vehicle Accessibility, with a large share of sales tied to home care and the remainder to hospitals and institutional settings. Handicare was publicly listed in Sweden as Handicare Group AB before being acquired by Savaria in 2021. Today the Handicare brand remains active within Savaria's broader accessibility and patient care operations.
