Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hanmi Medicare was a South Korean healthcare company specializing in the development and commercialization of medical devices and health functional foods. As a key subsidiary of the Hanmi Pharmaceutical Group, the company was best known for its anti-adhesion barrier, Guardix, which is widely used in surgical procedures to prevent post-operative tissue adhesion. Additionally, the company maintained a significant presence in the nutritional market with its "Whole Soy Milk" brand and various health functional supplements. In November 2022, Hanmi Medicare was merged into Hanmi Science, the group's holding company, to consolidate management and improve operational synergy across the healthcare business units.
