Harris Wholesale was a prominent regional pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Solon, Ohio. The company specialized in the distribution of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and health and beauty aids to independent pharmacies, hospitals, and retail chains. At its peak, it was one of the largest independent drug wholesalers in the United States, serving a significant portion of the Midwest. In 1997, the company was acquired by McKesson Corporation, a global leader in healthcare supply chain management. This acquisition allowed McKesson to significantly expand its market share and distribution network in the Midwestern United States. Today, its operations are fully integrated into McKesson's national distribution infrastructure.
