Hatsuno

Hatsuno is a Japanese biotechnology company focused on the development of next-generation regenerative medicines using advanced organoid technology. Spun out from research at Yokohama City University and the Tokyo Medical and Dental University, the company leverages the work of Dr. Takanori Takebe to create functional, vascularized human organ buds from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Their primary focus is on treating severe liver diseases, such as liver failure and cirrhosis, by transplanting these organoids to restore organ function.
