Healagenics

Healagenics was a biotechnology and medical device company focused on the development of advanced wound care solutions. The company's core technology centered on a proprietary, bio-active, collagen-based scaffold designed to facilitate the healing of chronic and non-healing wounds. This scaffold, known as Healagen, was engineered to mimic the natural extracellular matrix, providing a structural framework that promotes cellular infiltration and tissue regeneration. Founded by experts in wound healing from Virginia Commonwealth University, Healagenics aimed to address significant unmet needs in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers.
