Health Benefits Direct Corporation was a healthcare technology and insurance services company that operated an online marketplace for health and life insurance. Founded in 1999, the company developed proprietary software platforms, such as InsPro and Insurint, to automate the marketing, sales, and administration of insurance products. These platforms provided insurance carriers and third-party administrators with tools for lead generation and back-office management. In 2009, the company transitioned its insurance agency business to eHealth, Inc. to focus primarily on its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings. The company subsequently rebranded as InsPro Technologies Corporation and was acquired by Majesco in 2020.
