Health Plan of Nevada (HPN) is a leading health insurance provider and the first federally qualified health maintenance organization (HMO) in the state of Nevada. Established in 1982, the company offers a comprehensive suite of health benefit plans, including individual, family, and employer-sponsored coverage, as well as Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans through its affiliate, Sierra Health and Life. HPN operates as a subsidiary of UnitedHealthcare following the 2008 acquisition of its parent company, Sierra Health Services, by UnitedHealth Group.
