HealthCare Partners Medical Group was a leading operator of medical groups and physician networks in the United States, primarily focused on providing integrated care and value-based healthcare services. Founded in California, the company grew into one of the largest operator-led medical groups, managing care for hundreds of thousands of patients through a coordinated care model. The organization specialized in primary care, specialty care, and managed care services, particularly for Medicare Advantage populations. In 2012, the company was acquired by DaVita for approximately $4.4 billion and operated as DaVita Medical Group. In 2019, UnitedHealth Group's Optum division acquired the business for $4.3 billion.
