Company intelligence / Profile preview
Healthland was a U.S. healthcare information technology company focused on electronic health records, financial, clinical, and operational software for rural community hospitals and critical access hospitals. The company was founded in 1980 as Dairyland Healthcare Solutions and later rebranded as Healthland. Its core offering included the Centriq platform, a single-database hospital information system designed to integrate clinical, financial, and ancillary workflows. Healthland also expanded into post-acute care through the acquisition of American HealthTech and into emergency department workflow through Rycan Technologies. In January 2016, CPSI completed its acquisition of Healthland and its affiliated entities for approximately $250 million, after which Healthland ceased to operate as an independent active company.
