Company intelligence / Profile preview
Healthy Alliance IPA is a New York-based independent practice association focused on addressing social drivers of health rather than developing therapeutics. It operates as part of the broader Healthy Alliance network, coordinating community-based organizations, health systems, physician groups, and health plans to connect Medicaid and other underserved populations with services such as food, housing, transportation, and navigation support. The organization is one of the first IPAs in the U.S. explicitly built around social determinants of health and risk-sharing/social care contracting. Its work is infrastructure- and services-based, using a digital referral platform and regional partner network to manage social care delivery across upstate New York. For a biotech analyst, this is best understood as a healthcare delivery and social care coordination organization, not a drug-development biotech or pharma company.
