Heart of America

Heart of America Medical Center (HAMC) is a non-profit critical access healthcare facility based in Rugby, North Dakota. Established in 1905 and sustained by the Good Samaritan Hospital Association, the center provides a comprehensive range of medical services including acute care, emergency services, surgery, and primary care through its network of clinics. HAMC serves a broad rural community across north-central North Dakota, offering specialized programs in oncology infusion, hospice care, and rehabilitation. The organization recently modernized its infrastructure with the opening of a new 79,000-square-foot medical facility in late 2024 to enhance patient care efficiency.
