HeartGift Foundation

HeartGift Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides life-saving heart surgeries to children from around the world where specialized medical care is scarce or unavailable. Established in 2000, the foundation collaborates with pediatric surgeons and medical centers to treat congenital heart defects in children from developing nations. The organization covers the full cost of medical care and coordinates travel and housing for the patients and their guardians. HeartGift operates through multiple chapters in the United States, primarily partnering with hospitals in Texas and Louisiana. To date, the foundation has facilitated treatment for hundreds of children from over 35 countries, significantly impacting global pediatric cardiac health.
