Hemophilia Center of Western New York

The Hemophilia Center of Western New York (HCWNY) is a specialized non-profit healthcare organization and federally designated Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) serving the Western New York region. Established in 1970, the center provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other rare bleeding and clotting disorders. Their integrated care model includes hematology, nursing, social work, physical therapy, and a specialized 340B pharmacy program that helps fund patient services. HCWNY also actively participates in clinical research and national surveillance programs to advance the treatment of bleeding disorders. The center is dedicated to improving patient quality of life through education, advocacy, and personalized clinical management.
