Hemophilia Foundation of Illinois

The Hemophilia Foundation of Illinois (HFI), now operating as the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of Illinois, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other rare bleeding disorders. Founded in 1954, the foundation provides essential services including patient advocacy, educational programming, and emergency financial assistance. HFI works closely with a network of Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) to ensure patients receive comprehensive, specialized care. The organization also hosts community events and summer camps, such as Camp Warren Jyrch, to foster a supportive environment for children and adults living with these chronic conditions.
