Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hephaistos has developed a new generation of detoxified and augmented TLR4 activators that have shown promising preclinical results in both liquid and solid refractory cancers. Their lead candidate, HEPHA-440, has orphan drug designation for osteosarcoma and is expected to enter clinical trials by 2027. The technology aims to turn immunologically "cold" tumors into "hot" ones, improving response rates in hard-to-treat cancers. Significant non-dilutive funding and seed investment have been secured to advance toward clinical development.
