Heritage Health Systems is a healthcare services company and managed care organization that primarily focuses on the Medicare Advantage market. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company provides a range of health insurance products, including Medicare supplement plans and medical management programs for seniors. It was acquired by Universal American in 2004, which subsequently became part of Centene Corporation following a series of mergers.
