Hermal Kurt Herrmann, commonly known as Hermal, is a specialized German pharmaceutical company focused on the field of dermatology. Founded in 1953 and headquartered in Reinbek, Germany, the company developed a robust portfolio of topical treatments for skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and inflammatory skin diseases. In 2007, Hermal was acquired by the Spanish pharmaceutical group Almirall from Bristol-Myers Squibb for approximately 378 million Euros.
