Heubach

Heubach is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of organic and inorganic pigments—including anticorrosive types—for use across coatings/paints/plastics/corrosion protection/pharmaceutical coloring/seeds/color printing industries. The group was founded over two centuries ago and has expanded via major acquisitions including DuPont’s pigment unit and most recently integrating Clariant’s global pigment business with support from SK Capital Partners. As of late 2024 it is being acquired by India-based Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd., which will create one of the largest global players in industrial colorants. While some products serve pharmaceutical applications as excipients/coloring agents for drugs/tablets/capsules/coatings etc., this is not a life sciences/drug development firm but rather an advanced materials/specialty chemicals manufacturer focused on sustainable innovation within its sector.
