Highland Ridge Hospital

Highland Ridge Hospital was a private, for-profit behavioral health hospital in Midvale, Utah that provided psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment services. The facility served patients with mental health, behavioral health, and substance use needs through hospital-based care and related treatment programming rather than a drug-development pipeline. Highland Ridge Hospital was part of the Acadia Healthcare network of behavioral health facilities. In April 2024, the hospital announced it would close, and reporting indicated the facility shut down on May 7, 2024 following repeated state licensing sanctions and patient-safety concerns. It was therefore a healthcare services provider, not a biotech or pharmaceutical developer.
