Hinchingbrooke Health Care

Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust was a healthcare provider based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England, primarily operating Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The Trust provided a wide range of acute hospital services, including emergency care, maternity, and specialized surgery to the local population. Notably, it was the first NHS hospital to be managed by a private company, Circle Health, under a franchise agreement from 2012 to 2015. In April 2017, the Trust merged with Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to form the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital continues to operate as a key site within the successor organization.
