Overview
Histograft’s lead product is a gene‐activated bone substitute approved for clinical use in Russia since 2019. Over 4,000 patients have been treated. The product uses octacalcium phosphate granules coated with plasmid DNA encoding VEGFA to promote angiogenesis and osteoinduction, resulting in improved bone regeneration. Clinical studies are ongoing for additional indications such as degenerative spinal diseases.
