Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hitachi Chemical Advanced Therapeutics Solutions was a U.S.-based cell and gene therapy CDMO operating as Hitachi Chemical's regenerative medicine business in North America. The company, commonly known as HCATS, evolved from Progenitor Cell Therapy (PCT) and provided process development, cGMP clinical and commercial manufacturing, technology development, logistics, storage, distribution, and related support services for advanced therapies. HCATS focused on helping biotech and pharmaceutical customers scale autologous and allogeneic cell therapy programs, including commercial-ready manufacturing infrastructure in Allendale, New Jersey. The HCATS business was later renamed Minaris Regenerative Medicine and, after Resonac sold Minaris to Altaris in January 2025, became part of the newly formed Minaris Advanced Therapies platform in May 2025. It was therefore a healthcare company and an exact historical company-name match, but it no longer operates today under the HCATS name.
