Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics was a U.S.-based in vitro diagnostics company focused on multiplex allergy testing and related laboratory instruments. The company commercialized allergen-specific IgE assays and analyzer systems for commercial reference laboratories and physician office laboratories, and sold products in more than 20 countries. It was historically known for being an early pioneer in multiplex in vitro allergy diagnostics and chemiluminescent IgE detection. Effective July 1, 2021, the company was renamed Minaris Medical America, and after Canon Medical's acquisition of Minaris Medical in July 2023, it was subsequently renamed Canon Medical Diagnostics USA effective February 1, 2025. As requested under the exact queried name, Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics should be treated as a former company name rather than the current operating brand.
