Hitest

HyTest is a Finland-based diagnostics reagent company that develops and supplies antibodies, antigens, and related immunological raw materials for in vitro diagnostic assay developers and life science customers. The company is best known for its strong position in cardiac biomarkers, especially troponin reagents, and also offers products spanning infectious diseases, inflammation, coagulation, anemia, neuroscience, and tumor markers. Rather than developing therapeutic drugs, HyTest operates as an upstream supplier to diagnostic manufacturers, providing performance-validated reagents used in immunoassays and biomarker research. HyTest was founded in 1994 in Turku, became a globally recognized IVD raw-material supplier, and was acquired by Mindray in 2021. It continues to operate under the HyTest brand with international commercial presence including Finland, North America, China, and Russia.
