Holland-Rantos was a pioneering American pharmaceutical company specializing in contraceptive products and reproductive health. Founded in 1925, it was the first company to manufacture diaphragms in the United States, significantly advancing the availability of birth control. The company is best known for its Koromex brand of spermicidal jellies, creams, and diaphragms. Holland-Rantos played a crucial role in the early 20th-century birth control movement by providing reliable contraceptive tools to physicians and clinics. It was eventually acquired by Youngs Drug Products, the manufacturer of Trojan condoms, and its legacy continues through the evolution of modern reproductive health brands.
