Hometown Medical was a Mississippi-based home medical equipment and supplies company focused on respiratory care, oxygen therapy, sleep-related equipment, mobility products, and related patient support services. The company operated two locations in Mississippi and served patients through a home medical equipment model rather than a drug-development pipeline. Its offerings included products such as CPAP equipment, portable oxygen concentrators, breast pumps, scooters, lift chairs, and other durable medical equipment. In July 2022, Hometown Medical was acquired by Quipt Home Medical, and the business was integrated into Quipt’s operations, expanding Quipt’s footprint in Mississippi.
