Company intelligence / Profile preview
HonorHealth Research Institute is the research arm of the Arizona-based HonorHealth health system and operates as a nonprofit clinical and translational research organization focused on bringing investigational therapies, devices and diagnostics to patients. The institute conducts more than 300 clinical trials annually across oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, bariatric/GI and multispecialty programs, and has evolved from a site-based clinical trials organization into a broader translational medicine enterprise. Its newer Center for Translational Science is intended to move laboratory discoveries into new drugs, devices and preventive approaches, supported by a downtown Phoenix laboratory presence and collaborations with Arizona academic institutions. HonorHealth Research Institute is especially visible in oncology, including pancreatic cancer and melanoma, but also runs interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, pulmonary, rheumatology and weight-management research. For biotech analysts, it is best understood not as a venture-backed drug developer with a discrete proprietary pipeline, but as an active healthcare research institute and clinical-translational partner embedded within a provider network.
