Hope Loves Company

Hope Loves Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and emotional support to children and young adults who have or had a loved one battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Founded in 2012, it is the only organization in the United States specifically focused on the unique needs of children and young caregivers within the ALS community. Their flagship program, Camp HLC, offers free weekend retreats that allow families to connect and find support in a traditional camp environment. Additionally, the organization provides "Hugs and Hope" care packages, educational resources, and grief support tailored to young people. While not a drug developer, Hope Loves Company plays a vital role in the healthcare ecosystem by addressing the mental health and social challenges associated with neurodegenerative disease.
