HpBio is a Brazilian medical device company focused on the development and manufacture of implantable and surgical products, with particular strength in neurosurgery and selected gastroenterology devices. Founded in 1985 by cardiovascular surgeon Prof. Helio Pereira de Magalhães, the company originally developed cardiac prostheses and later expanded into cerebral shunt systems, drainage systems, and intracranial pressure monitoring products.
