HUITAI’s lead asset, HTPEP‑001, a first-in-class synthetic peptide that antagonizes the interaction between thrombospond‑1 and CD36 to block activation of TGF‑β1, has completed a Phase I clinical trial in China for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
