Humaine Kliniken Group was a prominent German healthcare provider that operated a network of acute care and rehabilitation hospitals. The company specialized in high-growth medical fields including neurology, orthopedics, oncology, and psychosomatic medicine. In 2005, the group was acquired by Rhön-Klinikum AG from the private equity firm Advent International for approximately €312 million. At the time of the acquisition, Humaine managed six hospital sites with nearly 3,000 employees and generated annual revenues of roughly €230 million. Its facilities were later integrated into larger German hospital networks, with several eventually becoming part of Helios Kliniken.
