Human Oltóanyagtermelő és Gyógyszergyár was a leading Hungarian pharmaceutical and biotechnology company specializing in the production of vaccines, blood plasma derivatives, and sterile infusion solutions. Based in Gödöllő, the company was a cornerstone of the Hungarian healthcare industry for decades, providing essential immunobiological products and generic medicines. In 1995, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries acquired a majority stake in the company, eventually integrating its manufacturing and R&D operations into Teva Hungary. The Gödöllő site remains a significant manufacturing hub for sterile products and generic medicines within Teva's global supply chain, while the plasma division was later divested to Kedrion.
