Overview
Humanigen develops proprietary monoclonal antibodies using its Humaneered® technology. Its lead candidate, lenzilumab, targets GM-CSF and has been evaluated in late-stage clinical trials for COVID‑19 and hematologic cancers. The company also develops ifabotuzumab targeting EphA3 for solid tumors. Lenzilumab showed promise in reducing cytokine storm in severe COVID‑19 but did not meet all endpoints in pivotal studies. Programs continue for rare leukemias with orphan drug designations sought.
