Hunan Saiwo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was a Chinese biopharmaceutical company focused on the research and development of treatments for substance abuse and addiction-related brain disorders. Founded in 2011 and based in Changsha, Hunan, the company specialized in developing long-acting, sustained-release formulations for addiction management. Its core pipeline included a long-acting naltrexone implant for preventing opioid relapse and alcohol dependence, as well as a disulfiram implant for alcohol aversion therapy. In 2017, the company's core assets, intellectual property, and R&D team were acquired by Shenzhen Shankang Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. for 25 million RMB, after which Hunan Saiwo Pharmaceutical was subsequently deregistered.
