Company intelligence / Profile preview
Hyalex Orthopaedics has developed a synthetic biomimetic cartilage implant system for joint preservation. Its lead product, the Freestyle Knee Implant based on its proprietary HYALEX HYDROSURF materials platform, has shown promising early clinical results mimicking natural joint mechanics and enabling return to activity for patients with painful cartilage lesions or early osteoarthritis. The company received FDA approval to expand from an Early Feasibility Study into a pivotal trial in both US and Europe as of mid–2025. Initial first-in-human data are being presented at major orthopedic congresses.
