i3 Pharma Resourcing was a global provider of functional service provider (FSP) solutions and clinical staffing for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. As a specialized division of the i3 contract research organization (CRO), the company focused on providing expert personnel for clinical trials, including clinical research associates, project managers, and data management professionals. The company was recognized for its flexible resourcing models, allowing sponsors to outsource specific functional areas rather than entire projects. Originally part of UnitedHealth Group's Ingenix (now Optum), i3 Pharma Resourcing was acquired by inVentiv Health in 2011. Following the 2017 merger between inVentiv Health and INC Research, the entity's operations were fully integrated into Syneos Health.
