IBAH

IBAH was a life sciences services company focused on outsourced product development support for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies. The company was formed in 1994 through the merger of Affinity Biotech and Bio-Pharm Clinical Services and operated as a contract research and development services provider rather than a therapeutics developer. Its offerings included biostatistics, clinical data coordination, clinical trial management, development consulting, pharmacoeconomics, formulation, drug delivery, and surface technology services. IBAH appears to have generated commercial revenue from fee-for-service contracts and maintained an international footprint before being acquired by Omnicare in 1998. It does not appear to have had a proprietary clinical-stage therapeutic pipeline as its core business.
