IBJI CARES

IBJI CARES is the philanthropic arm of the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI), established in 2018 as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The acronym CARES stands for Compassionate Allied Rehabilitation Enabling Society. The organization's mission is to empower employees, physicians, and patients to promote wellness, healthy movement, and positive lifestyles through fundraising, education, community outreach, and service opportunities. IBJI CARES supports both local Chicagoland initiatives and global health causes, including medical device donations and partnerships with organizations like Operation Rainbow to provide orthopedic care in underserved communities. The foundation has raised over $1 million to date to support various health-related charities and community programs.
