ICEX Spain Trade and Investment

ICEX Spain Trade and Investment ("ICEX") is the national public business entity under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain. Its mission includes promoting the internationalization of Spanish companies—especially in life sciences—and attracting foreign investment into Spain’s dynamic biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. It provides market research support, matchmaking services for trade fairs/exhibitions like BIO International Convention, and fosters R&D collaborations globally. While not itself developing therapeutics or diagnostics, it plays an essential role in supporting hundreds of innovative Spanish biotech/pharma firms as they expand internationally or seek partners/investors.
