iCo Therapeutics

iCo Therapeutics focused on repurposing and reformulating existing drugs for new indications, primarily in ophthalmology and infectious diseases. Lead programs included the antisense oligonucleotide iCo‑007 targeting c-Raf kinase for diabetic eye diseases, monoclonal antibody iCo‑008/Bertilimumab targeting eotaxin‑1 for ocular inflammatory conditions, and an oral formulation of amphotericin B for systemic fungal infections. Clinical results included successful completion of a phase 1 trial with iCo‑007 in diabetic macular edema and phase 2 studies ongoing or planned for other assets as of the company's last independent activity.
