IdentiPHI was a healthcare information technology company that specialized in identity management and biometric authentication solutions. The company's primary mission was to secure access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and streamline clinical workflows through enterprise single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication. Its technology allowed healthcare providers to replace traditional passwords with biometric identifiers like fingerprints, enhancing both security and efficiency in hospital settings. IdentiPHI was acquired by Saflink Corporation in 2008, which subsequently adopted the IdentiPHI name before filing for bankruptcy in 2009.
