IDX Systems was a prominent healthcare information technology company that provided software and services to manage the administrative, financial, and clinical operations of healthcare organizations. Founded in 1969, the company specialized in practice management, electronic health records (EHR), and revenue cycle management solutions for hospitals and large physician groups. Its core product lines, including Flowcast and Carecast, were widely adopted by major academic medical centers and health systems across the United States and the United Kingdom.
