Image-Guided Neurologics (IGN) was a medical technology company specializing in the development of advanced navigation and delivery systems for minimally invasive neurosurgery. The company's flagship product, the Navigus system, provided a skull-mounted trajectory guide that allowed neurosurgeons to precisely target deep brain structures using real-time imaging. IGN's technology was primarily utilized in deep brain stimulation (DBS) procedures for treating movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. Following its acquisition by Medtronic in 2005, IGN's innovations were integrated into Medtronic's industry-leading neuromodulation and surgical navigation portfolios.
