Immunethep has developed a proprietary immunotherapy platform targeting a newly discovered bacterial immune evasion mechanism. Its lead product—Paragon Novel Vaccine (PNV)—is the first vaccine designed to simultaneously prevent infection from five of the most critical human pathogenic bacteria. PNV aims to reduce antibiotic use and combat antimicrobial resistance. The company also develops monoclonal antibody therapies and has applied its expertise toward COVID‑19 vaccine development. As of late 2022–2023, PNV was preparing to enter first-in-human clinical trials; additional pipeline assets are in preclinical or early development stages[3][4].
