Immunoaction LLC is a biotechnology company based in Charlotte, Vermont, focused on the development of novel cancer immunotherapies. The company's lead technology, MBTA therapy, is an intratumoral treatment that combines mannan-BAM (a phagocytosis-stimulating ligand), Toll-like receptor (TLR) ligands, and anti-CD40 agonistic antibodies. This approach is designed to activate a robust innate immune response followed by the induction of adaptive immunity to eliminate tumors and establish long-lasting immune memory. Research conducted in collaboration with the University of South Bohemia and the National Institutes of Health has demonstrated the therapy's potential in various murine cancer models, including aggressive pancreatic adenocarcinoma and melanoma.
