Overview
ImmunoMet’s lead molecule, lixumistat (IM156), is an orally bioavailable small molecule PC1 inhibitor that targets oxidative phosphorylation. It has completed Phase 1 studies demonstrating good tolerability and target inhibition. In a Phase 1b trial in advanced pancreatic cancer, lixumistat combined with gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel showed promising safety at the recommended phase 2 dose of 400 mg QD. The compound has received Orphan Drug Designation for pancreatic cancer and glioblastoma multiforme. Additional programs are at earlier stages or preclinical development.[3][4][7]
