Impacta Salud y Educación (IMPACTA) is a leading Peruvian non-profit clinical research organization specialized in the study, prevention, and treatment of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and emerging infectious diseases. Established in 2000, the organization operates several clinical research sites in Lima and serves as a critical hub for international clinical trials in Latin America. IMPACTA collaborates extensively with global research networks, including the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN) and the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG), to evaluate new vaccines and therapeutic interventions. Beyond clinical research, the organization provides specialized healthcare services and conducts community outreach programs focused on vulnerable populations. Their work was instrumental in the regional execution of global Phase 3 COVID-19 vaccine trials.
