ImVision Biotherapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Israel that specializes in developing novel immunotherapies for food and environmental allergies. The company's proprietary platform utilizes recombinant fusion proteins designed to desensitize patients by modulating the immune response toward a non-allergic state. Its lead candidate, IVN401, was developed as a potentially best-in-class therapy for peanut allergy, aiming to provide a safer and more effective alternative to traditional oral immunotherapies. In May 2020, ImVision was acquired by Aimmune Therapeutics (now a Nestlé Health Science company) for $5 million upfront and up to $325 million in milestone payments. This acquisition allowed Aimmune to expand its allergy portfolio beyond its FDA-approved peanut allergy treatment, Palforzia.
